Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
Hope the memory clinic appointments go well & are usefully,
Yes Mandart hope you are healing, & here was okay but the neighbour & i did some gardening am very lucky she helps me with the bushes when they need cutting back. but it started to rain so we stopped , but has stopped again, so we have had enough rain.
Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
Had some nice but humid days.
Right now, the waterfall garden is all planted until next year.
Then there will be touch ups.
Had to do some transplanting and edging for another client. That should be done until next year.
Finally got the farm and my home mowed.
Started to gather unused chemicals and paints at the farm to take next week for the "clean sweep" for our county.
The contractor using the barn left a lot of stuff that can be taken in to be depose of.
Hard to do anything in the mornings with all the heavy due and getting wet shoes.
I have a pair that actually walk on their own with all the stink they are generating. :D
Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
We had some 80 degrees days with humidity.
Now it is in the 40's and it's nippy outside.
I finally have everyone's garden done and it's so late in the year for me to catch up on mine.
Working on weeding the gardens before winter comes.
Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
The gardens you do and share pics of - mostly yours that I remember, are so beautiful! To do them properly takes so much time and skill. You always amaze me with your design sense and energy! Enjoy a bit of a rest now, like the plants!
Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
You are so right majesty the photos are such a credit to Police, hope she manages a rest now.
Did manage to get some sorting of the garden at MIL its amazing how the weeds seem to grow including into the drive doesn't seem to mater you seem to clear them & this mixture of weather this year means they re appear.
hope everyone was able to enjoy yesterdays warmer weather in England yesterday, today a lot duller here today.

Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
I finally had time away from everyone else's gardens and it's cold to do any of my work. :(
I still need to weed the gardens at least one more time.
I do have some snapdragons, cosmos, calendulum and alyssum blooming.
This is the third blooming of the alyssum

We did have days in the 30's and 40's and frost on the grass and had to scrape the truck from all the frost. Ughh!
The last 3 days has been cold and rainy.
It has been the perfect time for updating my websites.
I have one site completely updated and the second one is in the works.
Trying to take advantage of these dreary, rainy days.
Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
The garden looks lovely, here as well sudden change of weather, over the last few days, but did managed to dead head the flowers that we have on MIL patio so she has some colour to look at, & sort the birds food out, they just about let me get in , then this morning fed the birds here I didn't even get the door shut & they were there, certainly there are plenty of berries around still so hope will help the birds.
Hoe everyone is keeping warm, must admitt felt a need for the heating this morning was nice to find still okay, must now sort out about serviceing it.
Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
Happy November !
Yesterday, it snowed, then melted,
then snowed again and it stuck.
Late afternoon, it snowed again and pretty much covered the yard.
It's 20 degrees this morning and I had to sweep the snow off the truck and scrap the frost off.
Brrrrrrrrrr !

Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
We haven't had snow just wind & rain, & so many floods in the area, they are saying more rain tomorrow as well, have just been down to the local shop &
rescued some ones bins as the wind if getting up it blew them right into the road, so thought not good to leave on the road,
Hope everyone is okay with all this wind & rain. The paddock at MIL is now a large pond somer said never seen it in 40 odd years as bad as that
