Good luck with your house hunting yeller, hope you manage to find your perfect new home!
Oh, I'm very, very sad to hear about the passing of Tina. I have always been a big fan of hers, she was just an amazing artist. I am mesmerised when I watch her performances. A great loss indeed.

Quickly passing by to lob in a favourite song of mine... Elkie Brooks
Re: Cocktails!!! and Music
Trish just posted a few pics from The Sherwood Centre on my Autism East Midlands thread.

Thanks books, I love to see what the team are sowing and growing. The polytunnel seems to be a a big success!
Mandart, Elkie Brooks has a wonderful, unique voice. She is another one of my favourite female singers (there aren't very many I must admit!)
I get goose bumps when I see/hear this rendition of one of my fave choons from Elkie ....

I had an encouraging phone call from Adult Social Care this week.
The lady I spoke to was impressed that I had already got myself on waiting lists for 5 different retirement properties.
I will be getting a visit from an Occupational Therapist at some point to help with the move.

Howdy cocktailers!
Long time - no chat!
I'm in a state of total relief, no more ebaying or ebidding for a few days as we are having a family weekend away in Great Yarmouth. It will be so lovely to be with some of my kids and grandchildren for a few days. The weather is looking great for us, so buckets and spades and swimming costumes will be required for the beach!
Crikey books, we sure have lost some talented musicians this year, thank-you for listing some of their choons - I really enjoyed listening to them.
Moonie, how are you?
How is the home hunting going? Hope your visit from the Occupational Therapist went well for you and it won't be too long before they fix you up with a really nice new home.
Yeller - any luck yet with your search for a new forever home? Hope that you still keep on rockin'!
Mandart, you do have a good taste in music - would love to hear another one of your faves.
I heard this t'other day and thought that I might share with you guys ....
