In line with what Kreative said.
It will give ebid more listjngs and a higher profile
It will help ebid financially with more fvfs
It will give buyers more variety and therefore more reason to come back.
It will help fill up some empty categories.

is there any update to this app, also, I think he we had some large stores like Argos on board, it would improve activity
It would be good to get a big name on board, but those are the people eBay are falling over themselves to attract. And you can bet their listings would show at the top of searches, they would not get restrictions for low DSR's or any of the other hassle that small sellers get.
I would like to see a few more cars for sale. It has got to be worthwhile for sellers, the savings on say a £5,000 sale would be well worth while, and the fees it could bring to eBid would no doubt be useful.
I run and own a car owners club, may be i can push that aspect there www.mgr-forums.com
ok i have placed links back to here advising member to list cars, parts and all other stuff on Ebid

any luck with that app yet?
I do not think there is, nor is going to be an app. Its been promised for too long, I have looked and cannot find it, I periodically look just incase.
Trust takes time to earn and moments to lose.
Can someone just take an app from the android market and change it to make it work with eBid???
After all Android is open software as long as you do not use any of the previous app creators logos it is not breaking any laws I know of.
Can we not help ourselves?

THERES TWO GOOD ONES I USE
I am sure that ebid want to do the mobile apps.
It is just the work involved that is holding them back. Programming resources (staff, money etc)
They say they have submitted their app to Apple two times so it must be getting closer.
I am not so sure about the API though, that is also needed to attarct more larger sellers who list on multiple platforms.
Apple have just admitted that their new iOS7, due out shortly, will make some older apps obsolete. So the boys might have to change their app before it even gets released.
I suspect when eBid started designing their app Apple was still using iOS1 ;)
