I wouldn't call myself a big die-cast collector but I do have about 25 die cast planes mainly WWII and a few double oo gauge oxfords cars and trucks.
What I look out for is less common planes rather the spitfires (which I have as well) I would rather have a nice hawker typhoon and it is the same for my oxfords.
What is find when I look at diecasts on the darks side and no here is pages and pages of the same or very similar cars or planes or trucks and I lost intrest.
If you and other die-cast sellers wanted to make this place the go to to get your die-cast models then I would make it my aim to get hold of all the item that you don't find pages and pages off on the drak side and other places.
Have just done a search on here for die-cast just as someone new to ebid would generally do and it has brought up 1,345 listings (Avaliable to me at the pc I am at at this minute) If I filter to highest price first the first another newbie way of searching I get 3 full pages of chinesse rubbish in bulk which would then turn me of the search anyway but if i stick to the search I then get page after page of cars that I can fine all over the web and sometimes at better prices then listed here. It took six pages for me to find anything that I found intresting and sadly this was over priced and I found 3 others on the web at a lower price.
If i filltered the other way and went lowest to high on the price again another newbie search I then I got page after page of common hot wheels and matchbox cars which to me would be a toy then a collectors item and would proberly sell better in that cat. but that maybe just me but that maybe just me. It took me 4 pages to find anything intresting in this form of search.
I feel that you could make this place the go to place for die-cast but it would take a lot of hard work and effort to attract the sellers that have more then the run of the mill items which could attract customers to buy here. The cat. needs a lot of tidying up IMHO.

Hi, hush-hush - eBay is hard to beat for selection but as a seller I am totally p***** off with them. What are you looking for? Here is my eBay list - it varies a lot from week to week:

Hi fred it is bad form but have had a look and like some of the stuff you have but at the min am looking for a fw190 and a de haviland vimpire and/or venom all in 1:72 scale.
The Vulcan you have is nice but out of my price range at the min. Have you seen one in the flesh? they are amazing.
I saw one a few years ago at the Shoreham air show.My brother lived in Lancing at the time & we were sitting in his back garden when it came over.It actually finished it's run right above my brother's house & climbed almost vertically above me,all I could see was the orange glow from it's engines. If I'd had a camera it would have been a fantastic shot.
I was lucky enough to see both a Vulcan and a Victor both a bruntingthorpe not long ago it's a massive bit of kit.
The Vlucan was the actual one that bomb the Argentinians in the Falklands.
I have a small collection of die-cast buses (and am selling some at the moment!)
