Right, can anyone else help me in putting a link in my own website back to eBid, before I give up and start smoking again.:(
Have a look at my site
http://www.screwworld.co.uk/
It is not an ecommerce site. As you can see if you click on "Shop" it takes you to the relevent area of one of my eBid shops.
Please note this is a very poorly written site using lots of bad HTML from a very old bit of software. :o:o:o:o
I am currently trying to understand CSS.
Re: Link back to eBid from your site.
Oh yes Links are welcome to the ebid site and promoted However it;s a real shame ebid dos not trust us users enough to alow links back to users web sites
one way trust is not good enough and dose nothing to promote Two way promotions. I only promote exchanges. Pop a back link here and have your listings removed. No Thanks.

eBid does allow links back to users' sites - as long as they are not e-commerce sites.
Why would the operator of any business allow the use of their resources to promote a competing business?
Nobody is obliged to link to eBid to promote their items for sale there - so you are totally free to say 'No thanks'.

So you can link from your own website as long as its not a business site? so eBid do not want to have any links on a website where one sells their products etc? surely thats the idea so that eBid get the sales, no?
I didn't know I put an email address on the about me page.
OK....I have designed sites and you already have one.
So....I am guessing that you already know how to add links to it.
easy instructions ;0
1....open your site editor or whatever you use to edit your site.
2....decide where you want to put an ebid link
3....add it to your site...wherever you like.
Re: Link back to eBid from your site.
The banner images have vanished from post #1 again.
Re: Link back to eBid from your site.
What?? I just want to sell some stuff, I am not an advertising agent for EBID. With what we paid them they should promote this site. I don't get the banner thing at all. Help.
Re: Link back to eBid from your site.
Forgot to mention I paid $6.00 here in fees and got not sales at all..

You are using optional extras which eBid will charge you a small fee. These fees are recurring when your items are automatically relisted as they will list in the same design you started out with.
Re: Link back to eBid from your site.
Just placed a couple of the ebid logos on my website and linked it back to my shop on here, top stuff :)
Re: Link back to eBid from your site.
These banners are very good. Is there a way to take and modify one with my own message?
Why are there no banners aimed at buyers?
