Everyone's doing them, I see them everywhere, cheap polls reflecting the alleged beliefs of the nation. After seeing so many of them today, I'm starting some of my own and the first question is, what is you MAIN reason for being on eBid?

Strange i was thinking of a similar poll, the other day:)
Anyhow, at one time i would of said to sell
Now, its a forum i visit from time to time, looking for an odd bargain to maybe sell elsewhere
To sell stuff. Is there another reason?:)
LOL you replied before I even got the poll listed... not too quick at this game, am I? Never mind, should get the hang of it soon :)
O.K. Manstomar nipped in ahead of me there. I got my answer.
Just saw another poll. Seems to be saying that 38% of the 6518 people who responded have got NO DEBT! WOW! Guess they'll not be popping on here looking for bargains but I'll bet they already flogged off all their extra stuff they didn't need. Just off to see if I can find the other 62%.
6518 responses, that's not bad, considering I can't get 6 here :( Mwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah .... where have all the people gone?
I haven't voted yet as my reason is not really covered. I guess the best answer is that I had planned to do some selling to supplement my retirement. I guess about as close as that could come is to say raise spare cash but I don't normally think of raising spare cash as something you set up some plans ahead of time for.
My plans were to list on feebay to sell the items I had been gathering up before I retired. Needless to say feebay is not an option that I like but eBid is if a few situations get settled.
When it comes down to the wire I am on eBid because that is where I can afford to list what I want to sell so it can be seen and because for the most part I like eBid. This is not one of the options.
I might could say I am an online trader but I am not sure what that category is. I do not sell enough to make any great change in my life and I don't buy enough to make any great effect on anyone else's life. I did buy most of my families birthday gifts off eBid this year but I don't know what category all this puts me in either. If a trader is someone that is trying work eBid like I used to work before I retired then I am not a trader.
I retired because I wanted things easier and because of my health.
Those Poles get everywhere You'll see Russians, Bulgarians They will be next!
They may get everywhere, but do many people pay much attention to them? The big one I was looking at had a response of over 6500 but that was on a site with 1.5 million members or something like that. According to the stats at the bottom of this page, there are 362,196 members have joined these forums and so far 9 have responded.
Hi peggy, you could just say 'none of the above' if none of them suit :)
