The pearls they are speaking of are Wish Pearls, same concept, you by the oyster and inside is a pearl and you never know what color or size you will get. Then you can have it mounted into any setting you like.
Yes, I got one for Christmas a couple of years ago. I'm a country girl - I can "kill 'em, gut 'em and "cook 'em" but opening that oyster disturbed me. I can just imagine the laughs a person would get out of watching a bunch of gagging and/or squealing women open the oysters. ;)
