Promoting eBid Suggestion
How can we get eBid items to appear in Yahoo or MSN when searching an item. When I search a item in the search engine of Yahoo and MSN ebay items appear but never eBid. This surely would be a tremendous way of getting eBid recognized. Due to lower fees and sellers being able to sell items at a lower price our site (eBid) should gain it's way of being the #1 online selling site.

Re: Promoting eBid Suggestion
I really do like this site much over Ebay - I would like to just list here but I still list in both as ebay still gets more exposure. I would be willing to help in any way I can to get this site noticed more and to get more buyers on here.
Re: Promoting eBid Suggestion
Ebid promotes your items on google provided you follow the listing rules.
Re: Promoting eBid Suggestion
eBay promotes on Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Was wondering if we could be promoted on those sites as well as Google. Thanks for your input.
Re: Promoting eBid Suggestion
the way to do it is post your items through pinterest, they get a good seo rating, and don't neglect Google+.
personally I use tailwind as well to repin and schedule my postings, £80 a year after 1 month free.
and I suggest share other members ebid postings not just your own.

I have made this sticker and have put it on my car, I am going to do some business cards too and leave them in public places like the library.
Re: Promoting eBid Suggestion
It would be great if ebid could do a deal with the guys who run the forsale range of websites. They syndicate all the auction and classified ads listings from the likes of eBay, Gumtree, Craiglist etc. It would be an awesome way to further promote our items. They have a separate website for each country including the US & UK. Here is a link to their Ireland website as an example: http://www.for-sale.ie/

Just ensure you contact Mark/Gazza beforehand, let them know your intentions, ask them permission to use the logo, explain in what capacity you will be using it and that it does not reflect on eBid in a negative way etc. (use your image posted here in this thread to demonstrate how their name and logo will be used) so as to ensure you do not violate any copyright/TM laws in using their name/logo without their permission and so on.

Re: Promoting eBid Suggestion
During the Red and Purple eras of the Site there were a selection of logos provide by G&M for use by us for publicity - business cards, address labels and the like. I have seen nothing since to suggest that this may have changed. But you are right it would do no harm to check it out.
