You are, of course, entirely right. How about asking a question on some of them? If the seller doesn't move them (and we all make mistakes), then report them and they will be removed for being in the wrong category.
Gee, thanks! Just had one of my listings removed by ebid - neither the reporter nor ebid thought to send a warning.
they do but it is deeply unfriendly and not immediately obvious that the auction can easily be reposted
"Hi justpurrfect,
eBid has a set of rules that should be adhered to when listing auctions. It has come to our attention that you may have listed an auction that was not in accordance with these rules.
Offence : Listings MUST be placed in a relevant category.

Ebid Heavy Handed?
I think 'Applicable Rule' would be better than 'Offence', as what follows is not the transgression but the rule transgressed.Quote:
Offence : Listings MUST be placed in a relevant category.
The end could also be rewritten to read as more advisory and less of a threat.
I don't know how hard it might be to make the adjustments needed so that the email being sent for the notification could contain something like this.
It has been brought to our attention that listing (listing info inserted) has violated eBid rules as it is placed in the wrong category. If the listing has not been moved to the correct category in (XX) days it will be automatically removed.
I would like the opportunity to make the correction before my listing was removed and this would take care of the fact that some people just report instead of contacting the seller and it would also make eBid seem more friendly. Seems like a win for everyone to me.
