Could use some help with selling desciption please
I flit from hobby to another and at the moment am making some earrings to sell at the Christmas craft fair. I would like to list some here in the meantime but am unsure how to accurately describe them. I've bought the findings, beads and charms and just put them together so they're not hand made - not even sure if hand crafted would be correct either. And although I've created the 'look', assembled by me doesn't sound very enticing. If anyone has any bright ideas - thank you very much for your help. :)

I think you can call them hand made, after all it was your hands that put them together ! http://www.pic4ever.com/images/128fs318181.gif

Agree with the above, Cuz, they definitely sound handmade and pretty to me. :)
Best wishes for many sales to all,

You could always say "designed by me" (I would also say hand made)

When you buy a computer it carries the sellers brand name, but do you think they actually make all the parts? No, they just assemble them. Follow the trend; you made the earrings.

Right, hand made it is then folks! I was thinking maybe there was another word that was eluding me, but maybe not? Thank you for all your replies.:)

I agree. Handmade doesn't necessarily mean you make the materials, just that your hands used them to create something.

I make earrings and I call them hand made - unique! I also sell used earrings - but always state that on the item description. So call them handmade or handcrafted! No problems.
