I always try to round off, but sometimes my Scottich ancestry gets the better of me. I found out this week that my Social Security will be sarting next week, so maybe I can wiggle a little more. Jeez, an actual steady income, now how does that work?
That's great Carol. I've been getting mine since I turned 62..about 5 years ago. Had to take a little less but, I figured what the heck....didn't want to wait to 65. Btw my YDC winnings came today or yesterday...lol...just got them out of the mailbox. The "dishcloth" is going to be a doily...it is just beautiful. The cookbooks look great. Going to give one to my daughter. If you have some left you should put one in YDC each month. I love the postcards...small town, USA. looks like where I live. Oh yes the "worms", hubby has already started on them. He says ..I gotta meet this gal sometime...lol..who knows..maybe. Sandy
It's the story of my life, I get up there where I can draw Social Security and the up the age. You watch when I get up to it again, they'll up it again (If we still have it). umm umm umm.
Why I applied for mine now, at 62, I want to get as much as I can before the money is all gone. I was going to put worms in last month, and I was out of them, but I remembered when I was at the grocery store to get extras, he he. Thought it would be fun!
I probably will list cookbooks next month. I also have 2 jars of jelly - choke cherry and strawberry rhubarb that is made here in Carpenter.
Jackie, I am so glad the dish got to you OK. I worry about my fragiles until they reach their new home. Looks like I still have to find someone who will use my dishcloth for their intended purpose. I have made a red, white, and blue one for next YDC and a pink one for Friday. I will try and get a pink angel done too.
Carol, if you list your cookbooks that would be good for your Evans Park, don't you think..I might even bid on another...for a grand daughter. Those receipes really look good, and so many of them. Sandy
This really and truly is the last YDC70 post. One day I'll tell the truth when I say FINAL!
Jackie, would it be all right if . . . . Just kidding!
Hooray for us!
