Sandy: I don't know if I want to join Facebook yet, I'm thinking about it - I always played Scrabble with my mom (RIP) and she always made up imaginary words which I had to look up and 75% of the time she was lucky and we found one LOL! Jan, I have a myspace too but hardly ever go on it anymore. All my family & friends are on facebook. I love the scrabble games [I have about 8 going on now]. I like that the scoring is automatic cause I sure wouldn't know how..not yet anyhow. Sometimes I think, I don't have time but, it's fun. Lots of ebid people there too. Sandy

Howdy....back briefly, I've been having computer issues and being on the road, haven't had much opportunity to cope with them. Jan, did you ever figure out the links? I just had two browsers open, Firefox to the post I created and IE open on each of our YDC auction pages.....you know, click on all auctions for Hopeful2, then click the "auctions for charity" link, then copy that page with her YDC listings and plunk it into the link with the globe & chain. I feel like I'm preaching to the choir, you've probably already figured that out! I doubt that I will be able to put together any more of those group listings until January at the earliest, since we are on the road almost every weekend from now to Xmas again. So, does anyone know what happened with the YDC? There have been a few flare-ups I can remember (Quad leaving, the charity cookbook mess) but things always seem to right themselves in due time. Pearly: No I never did figure it out with the links. As for the cookbook thingy, I've no idea what happened. As far as I know there was a thread about the books all being sold with a rundown of all monies received, expenses etc. Sandy: I'm still pondering about the Facebook thingy. ~Jan~
Pearly, someone got upset because the YDC threads were moved from the KT to the Charities thread. I read the beginning and the end result, but the goodie was deleted. We seemed to have done a good job despite the change in venue. That's all I know. I can tell you Huddy started the thread. Something must have been said that alluded to Babs, because in the follow up there were apologies to her. Now you know what this NYNN knows. Want to join our club - The New Yankee Nosey Nellie's? We have 2 members, me and hopeful. LOL!
Thanks for clarifying wyo, I had no idea what was up. Me personally, I'm glad eBid gave us a seperate forum for charities. It means we can create all the charity threads we need without hogging up the KT. I'll look at your group now.............................. *off to look* ~Jan~
