Greetings, My name is Tom Arillotta and I'm really new to eBid. I'm from Pittsburgh, PA and have found that alot of us who are owner-based in the United States are faced with unique issues. So I decided to start a new group, "American Sellers" in hopes of us Yanks all getting together to help out each other, and every now and then just say, "Hi!"

Hi Tom and Greg,my name is Christine,new to ebid from eBay,spent 5 years on eBay but the rules,fees and buyer protection got way out of control.I am all for buyer protection,but what about seller protection ?I am for the company making money ,but not for breaking the bank.I made good money but fees were out of this world,this may not bother all eBayers,but it did me.So,how r sales for you guys ?I did do some ebid checking looks to be a slow starter,am I right ?As far as sticking with ebid I sure will,we have to do the best we can,right ? Hi, my name is Rick. My wife and I ran a ebay store and got feed up with the monthly fee increases. Everything from the auction fees, picture, and store fees changed monthly to the point we were almost paying ebay more then we made. Seemed we got charged up front just to exist, then charged to post, then hit in the pocket book again when we sold. I'm starting a store called Wooden Tree Publishing. One frustrating point with Ebid is they are insistent that anyone on Ebid has no intellectual rights and can not sell their own published DVD works or downloads such as PDF books. This is a twist since were are the writers, publishers and own the works, also puts a twist to selling our ebooks at a cheaper price, cause they won't let us even though we have total legal ownership. Very frustration, when a part of our inventory isn't allowed to be sold on Ebid other then setting up our own website which defeats the purpose of setting up with Ebid. Rick, Mundelein, IL
Been researching countries that have major scams on the internet and especially auction scams. Anyone found or decided that some countries outside the USA are absolutely off our list. I found some and have material downloaded to Microsoft Word to read the consider. Use to sell just USA on Ebay, will be setting up to go international on Ebid. Has anyone had experience with shipping internationally, have tips on packing, deciding best shipping, more crushing problems with the distance and over seas travel? Rick, Mundelein, IL USA
I've been here at eBid on and off for about 2 years. Lifetime member so...........though it's slow, what have I to loose? I think if everyone kept adding stock, things will pick up. So I'm up to 113 listings and will keep adding a little at a time. My only problem is that I only ship in the US. So I'm begging this group to add stock to your listings.
