Just finished this watercolour, this will be the fourth painting they have commissioned from me. The Nubble Lighthouse in Maine USA

Good going Ken, four commissions from the same customer! The most I've ever had was eight but that was all in one order from Canada, after that I don't think anyone has had more than two but that's not to say they weren't necessarily happy with the two they did buy! I suppose most people have limited wall space after all :) Christmas coming up, usually do quite well in December but people do leave it late. Hope you get some more commissions.

I suppose that you have to work from a photo to do something which is that far away? Do the client send you a selection or do they just send you the one?
I have never done landscapes, I am more into human body and animals... A completely different approach, I think. Maybe one day, I have to try landscapes... There would be lots of trees, as I love trees.... Another thing to add to my long list of things to do...:)

Unfortunately the budget didn't run to a painting on location :)

Fab painting! I love the light in it - looks like its something you enjoy doing too - that shines through!
