What do you think Red?

Will you be sad to see the old stadium go and/or do you think it's an essential move if Forest want to get back to the 'big time'?

I'm Shocked! Gob smacked! After all the money that's been spent on the ground in the last 10 years? Puzzled! But one thing about the new site The parking will be much better.
Lots and lots of Memories.

Having said that YES the move would be a good move IF we are in a higher division.. Until then we are not going to get crowds of 50k

Personnally I think they should move the club to Mitcham South London!

And paid for with YOUR credit card of course! :)

PS I heard a rumour about 7-8 years ago that they we're looking into moving to therer (Went to a boot fair on the patch of ground thats earmarked!)

It's a shame that all the old grounds are closing, but I guess when they're 100+ years old they're just not equipped to deal with the demands of the modern game. If Arsenal can move away from Highbury and Liverpool can move away from Anfield then it's fair game for any club.

What's Forest's average home gate at the mo then? I know Man City fans used to have a good turnout when they were in the second division (or League One or whatever they call it next year) and I bet Leeds do as well. They're obviously not as fickle as the Forest 'faithful' :p ;)

Waste of time really. Plans for any new stadium are turned down most of the time unless they accommodate athletics, even though athletics grounds do not have to cater for football, and many in this area are underused. Who really wants to watch a football match across a wide running track?

Well knowing the way my luck's been going with my card over the last few days I'm probably about to be unveiled as the new owner :)

If so, don't exepect any Abramovich-style forays into the transfer market. I might be able to afford a Panini sticker of Michael Essien, but that's about it.

News Flash..........hypnotoad Revealed As New Nottingham Forest Owner!

My first point of business will be to offer the entire Forest first-team squad as an entry in the next YDC auction.

The YDC rules state that no item should be worth more than £20 so there's no problem on that score ;)
