Hi Richard. As a UK bookseller I'm doing of for sales. The US site is less well established at the moment so US sellers need to be a lot more proactive in marketing themselves. Have you let your old *bay customers know where to find you? and are you listing your books at a lower price than on *bay?

Your stated P & P when converted into UK pounds is on the high side, not sure if this is the current exchange rate? I notice you're quoting a lower P & P rate in the actual listings - but of course browsers won't see this. I'd recommend you revisit your P & P and display domestic ( USA) rates, plus international rates so that UK buyers might be tempted. Hope this helps :)

Hanna: P&P for all books in the US are the same. $2.50 for Media Mail or $5.00 for Priority Mail. International rates have changed as of May 14 to $11.00 for Global Priority Shipping & no other option will be available. Now have to go through every listing & change the International P&P, have 75 books done so far, very time consuming. Have put a notice on the top of my listings explaining this change. Not sure what you are referring too about any other P&P differences. Not sure what $11.00 US is in Pounds. Just know that the cheaper shipping is now gone........not much I can do about that. Keep moving books over from the 'bay' & do tell buyers over there about the new ebid site. But nothing yet from any of them. Without ebid doing some advertising in the US it will not make any inroads on the other site. Richard

123 DAYS & Still WAITING! Four months is a long time to wait for a sale. Have moved 3/4 of my books over from Pheebay but does not seem to matter over here. Does not look as though this site is going to catch on. Richard
