I tried this - no results at all - but at least 60 more people have heard of ebid which is a start.

Hmmmm.....my problem is I have been adding the Ebid front page link to all my buyers over on Ebay.....so even if they did decide to join ...I would not be getting any 'buddy points'.....go on, all laugh NOW!..... :-)

awwwwwwww I'm sorry, I must admit I did giggle a BIT ;)

Have to admit, I haven't done much of a campaign since the "good old days" of pesky's t-shirts and helymojos car stickers... I still have the t-shirt (although it probably doesn't fit any more, I was quite skinny then !! pmsl

I have started to do more fares now though, so I will be taking NYKmedia's newsletter to the masses :D Also been adding my buddy points link on my FFF email signature (especially included in all of my ebay "thank you for your order" emails). I am hoping to spend the day doing some online marketing in general for FFF today, so I will add my buddy points link as well...

Dave - is there an easy way to import all of your paypal email addresses or did you just have toi pick them all out manually?

Alrighty, you go to your Paypal History, on the far lefthand side click "Download History". This takes you to a page where you can choose which dates and type of transactions to download.... then a few minutes later you will get an email saying your log is available for download.... when you have downloaded your log, open the Excel file... highlight the column that contains the email addresses and copy and paste them into notepad. Only problem with this if you have had a transaction with the same person more than once, their email address is duplicated.... not sure if outlook or outlook express pick this up when you send the emails and rectifies it OR the same person will get 2 or more emails from you, haven't got that far yet... will try it out

Balls, outlook doesn't make any distrinction, so if there are emails duplicated in the paypal list, they will get more than one email.

ahh well

looks like a pain in the arris to check for duplicates as well Dave... will save that for a day when I have got more time (and patience)

ooooh I found a way to do it.. but it will be no good to you Dave if you can't view excel files (soz luv)

There is a little AZ icon in excel so that you can arrange the email addresses into alphabetical order, THEN copy/paste them intonotepad and delete the duplicates before copy/paste into your email

It seems longwinded, but it's a hell of a lot easier than sitting here picking them out manually (i got bored after the first 15)

If you paste the emails into excel you can get that to produce a unique list for you.
