normally pay about 3 quid plus for 2 aa batteries
7.99 for 32 in toys r us at the moment :D
good ones too - philips not pound shop rubbish

Surely the answer is rechargeable batteries. I switched a few years ago and never looked back.

yep me too - rechargeable but aren't there things that actually don't run too well on rechargeables?

You guys not heard of Re zap it? I got one Costs a bit more then noraml rechargables but it WILL re charge Ordinary Batteries upto 6 times......Worth an investment.

Brought some this morning ta
kids are always nicking my batteries for one thing or another, so always keep some in draw for anything really
Have rechargeable ones, when i don't lose the batteries :eek:

If you're using batteries in high-drain items, e.g. digital cameras, you're pretty much wasting your time with anything lower than 2600 mAh but that goes for normal or rechargable.

Haven't bought a normal battery in years. Totally agree with above - you need to choose your re-chargeables carefully and get the highest capacity. Don't forget with rechargeables - don't charge them up if they are not totally flat - they will last longer if they get a full charge from flat each time
