On Sunday i went to a bootsale (willow farm)
The farm has to iron gate, one to get in, the other to get out, simple enough.
As i was about to drive out from the exit a car had decided to drive in, one of the marshalls on the field (lady) run across and told him to shift it, no way was she going to let him through.
This 4x 4 had the male driver, his wife and a couple of tots strapped into the car seat at the back.
Well the driver flipped, he jumped out the car and had a right go at the marshall, on seeing what was going on a couple of other marshalls came across, the man then jumped back into his car and decided to carry on driving in, EVEN tho the lady marshall was standing in front of his car, EVEN tho my car was right in front of him with cars backed up behind me and cars trying to go past me, i had to slam into reverse to try and get away, only could move a couple of inches, anyway he moved forward slowly pushing the marshall forward, she done no more then turn around and thump his car bonnet.
This infuriated him more
He got out the car and literally grabbed hold of the marshall (lady) he was screaming at her( i thought he was gonna hit her), the other marshalls were trying to close the gate (they could'nt cos i was there), they managed to pull the lady away from him and then all of them stood in front of the 4x4 with other marshalls turning up.
This raving looney then jumped back into his car and reversed it back onto the road, (in front of all the on coming traffic), he then tried to ram in front of a van, the van was having none of this so the driver of the 4x4 decided to get out and have a go at him as well.
The passenge of the van got out with a bassball bat.
I heard a lot of swearing and shouting, see the passenger get back into the van, i see the man in the 4x4 running around to the back of his 4x4 and open it up.
I never see what went on next as I was then the one blocking in all the cars and had to move.
I am so annoyed at the man, even 2 days later, FFS he had little kids in the car
Wot posses someone to turn like that

im a 4 x4 driver and i dont think i own the road, dont have a go at all 4x4 drivers just because the bloody stuck up townies with 4wds, whos idea of offroading is going to tescos carpark on a saturday, dont know how to drive one or care for other road users when driving one.
i am considerate and careful driver who has not had a single speeding conviction and has been accident free for 20 years, how many townie 4x4 drivers can say that.

I must admit I dislike 4 x 4 drivers as they have these Massive cars and just One person in them most of the time.Get on your BIKE (Ive got one) as well as a car. People are generally lazy and nuff said as I am already in trouble for my Pound shop comments on another thread!

i dunno why this is not obvious to you all...
it wasnt the guy's fault he acted like that!
Think about it... he had a woman next to him in a car which we all know means she was giving him wrong directions and then blaming him for going the wrong way in between her constant nagging and the kids screaming..... the poor guy probably wanted a break for a night in a nice cold cell:p :D

unfortunatly i need a car as there is only a bus 3 times a day here and its 25 miles to nearest town and i work 11 miles further than that, and with the new laws have you ever tried getting 3 car seats in a standard car......

Grrr, I hate drivers like that. Inconsiderate, nasty, big-headed knobheads. They are everywhere, and it worries me. Some don't need a 4x4 to have attitude. We were taking a country drive once and had to go through one of those tiny bridges, the ones only big enough for one car? You can see if there is anyone coming the other way. We were about three quarters the way thru it, when this *@&* in a flashy car drove in the other end. He wouldn't move backwards to let us out, even tho he was the one the least way in. Well we wouldn't either. Sat there glaring at us, then started gesturing and swearing out of his window. I got really rattled about it, and nervous at his behaviour, so persueded the OH to back out for him. I had visions of "mental nutcase injures couple" in next days paper!! But honestly, what an idiot!

SatNav systems were developed because no man is going to pull up and ask directions, as that is tantamount to admitting he is lost. It's just not going to happen. My husband used to pull up round the corner from a shop or garage, and send me back to ask directions if he got hopelessly lost. He once spent 3 hours driving round Reading, and refused to stop and ask directions. I had to phone my daughter to come and find us when he finally pulled up at a MacDonald's.

Lol just reminded me of an incident my dad had with a taxi driver :D
They were waiting for the car wash and this taxi driver tried to jump the queue. Now my dad is a grumpy git at the best of times. Taxi driver must have felt brave that day until my dad threatened to "bounce on his bonnet" pmsl he took one look at the size of my dad and decided he didn't need the car wash after all.
Jon said he's going to buy me a satnav, so I can find my way to a petrol station :p

I would have taken down the number plate & reported him, there were enough witnesses & it would be easy enough to ask for their names & phone numbers, as it stands, nobody did anything, so he got away with it, his next victim might not get out unscathed.
