Nice Orchid Crackers. I must admit to crawling round the greenhouse and garden taking Macro pictures. There are only so many flowers, bugs and butterflies you can take pictures of before you wonder what you are doing. I spent an hour kneeling by the pond taking pics of a dragonfly nymph hatching into a dragonfly. I never realised how long they took to emerge from the nymph, pump up their wings, dry out, and take flight. Just as it took off the batteries in my camera gave out, and my knees had locked. The worst thing was the pictures weren't that good either.
I have a new camera now. It is powered by a flat pack rechargeable battery like a mobile phone. I charged it up, and have taken about 250 photos, and it is still well charged. It cost £11.99 in Tesco's sale last year. I think the price was a big mistake. A similar camera went for £89 on Espit recently.
