Mine has been down for 2 days now and went down for about 5 hours the other day.

On phoning them, they CLEARLY had no idea what i was on about and one of the ignorant half whits ( to keep it nice  ) put the phone down on me.

I then rang the technical help line @ 50p a min to be told it was the wrong section and given another number. They gave me the wrong extension AGAIN !!!

I have emailed them and so far no joy.

Wondering if this is happenning to anyone else who has an orange web site addy ???

THINK ITS TIME I PAID FOR MY WEBSITE OUTSIDE of my isp provider ! :(

hello

I have not got a orange web site, but after the service I personaly have recieved from them I would not get one either!

I have voip with them, well did have as it never works, out of 6mths its worked a few weeks!! the support line is very poor, thats if you get through as the lines are always busy!! the service line 50p a min are no help, its just a waste of money calling them to get told nothing!! apart from I will send a disk..this will work!! I have a collection of disks and it still doesn't work!! so I do know what your going through...not much help sorry :>(
with regards to email, you proberly will not get a response, I must of had around 20 ignored up to now, a few replied to but only standard text not answering the actualy email..just asking you to call the help line!!

Mines been out for days, and I had an auto response to my first email and no response yet from the second one, there is not even a message anywhere saying what the problem is and likely timescale either, now that wouldn't be too difficult would it. At £18 a month they are expensive as an ISP so for that money I expect a good quality service.

so here we are 3 DAYS ON from when it 1st went down.

I eventually got through to an english speaking geordie. lmao ( is that a contradiction ? ) ;)

Anyway ... he said they will raise my internet speed from 2mb to 6mb ( thats funny i have been paying for 8mb since i signed up with them )

By way of compensation : They will cut the cost from £21.99 to £17.99 .... and my REFUND for over payments since the begining ?

MY WEB SITES ??? When will they be back online ?

A : We dont know. WTH!!!! CHEEKY GITS.

Needless to say i am now looking for a new isp

I came to KT to ask same question, this has been driving me nuts, I use my Wanadoo/Orange webspace to host multiple pics for feeBay auctions - plus a website. They appear to be changing the mysite URLs from Wanadoo to Orange, trouble is neither are working :(
I sent an e-mail to support only to get an auto response about 3 miles long and totally irrelevant.
Hello ,

Thank you for your query.

This email is an auto-response and is the ONLY reply that is given to
mails sent to this address. Please read the frequently asked questions
below and the comprehensive online manual located at bla bla....

People don't bid on auctions with pics missing

They where meant to be ringing me back between 5.30 and 6.30 pm ... I GUESS NOT.

I am getting sick and tired of them.

OH .... & if thats the reason ? changing the urls to orange ??? does that mean i have to re-do my WHOLE websites from scratch ( presumably ) to FIX all the urls. :( ONCE .... They finaly come back ( 3 DAYS & COUNTING ) to change URLs ??? WTF .... ( loads of ANGRY FACES HERE ) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

According to the website the changes are:

old - http://sitename.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk
new - http://sitename.mysite.orange.co.uk

and/or (depends which you use)

old - http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/sitename
new - http://mysite.orange.co.uk/sitename

but I'm not editing anything until they sort it out, and confirm that it actually needs to be done, hard to tell at the moment

I've not received any emails notifying me of any changes, and I have been suffering from the same problem. I spoke to the helpline ( in India I guess from the accent bit difficult to understand!) they said to fill in another on-line form, but would pass on the message.

My links under my old URL's are working this morning. If they have a problem they could at least put a message up so you know whats happening, but then i guess they'd miss out on the phone calls that make them money. Sounds a bit like the eBay philosophy!

Both the Wanadoo & Orange versions of URLs are working now.

Still don't know if they intend to phase out the old (Wanapoo) ones eventually though

No probs with site speed here today btw.
