until you do the sums lol

at christmas when i was in scotland went shopping had a bit of money thought **** it etc treating myself (normally a bargain hunter but you know how sometimes you dont give **** anymore lol)
bought some origins eye cream
before i did say how much is it? cos tried it before and felt really nice
she goes 25 £
i thought omg wtf - just 5ml bollax to that
lets think ebay cheaper, this other brand cheaper - calculating bragain hunting thinking brain went on
then i thought bollax so bought it

anyway its just finished tonight
so thats around 100 days at 25 quid is 1p an application (morning and night)
not bad hey?
funny what things have what value etc
wish they would sell you bottle of wine at a fiver and say will last 100 days :D
so that means an eye cream that is a fiver is free cos who counts 8ths of a penny etc :D

( I SAY AGAIN ) ROFL

so it worked out ok then em ... lol

You know for all the money i have spent on cosmetics, skin care etc over the time i now have a terrible bleauty regime , almost non existant http://anythinggoes-forum.co.uk/forum/images/smiles/icon_redface.gif http://anythinggoes-forum.co.uk/forum/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif I do tend to take more care of myself in the summer .... So errrrr ROLL ON. i suppose. lol

I like to change my products , often , as even the best ones seem to stop working once your skin gets used to them and i do the same with hair products.

Bought l'oreal elvive shampoo and conditioner today ( Mirror shine - cashmere touch ) in the pink bottles 2 FOR £2.50 in wilko http://anythinggoes-forum.co.uk/forum/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif cant wait to wash my hair now.

Used to buy the £5 a throw blonde ones john ferida or summat, FK THAT ... THEM DAYS ARE GONE.

I brought the new L'oreal cashmere touch shampoo & conditioner the other day because it was buy 2 for £3 and Ive not noticed any difference in my hair.

In fact, the only shampoo/conditioner Ive ever used that I noticed good results in, was the garnier fructis long and strong range :)

I have just started using Elizabeth Gayle skincare cream and I must say, I have noticed a huge difference. It is wonderful!

I also can highly recommend the Victoria Principal range (I preferred her original range to her latest though).

I use a face wash - usually Olay face wash, but I couldn't get any when I went out the other week to buy it and bought an alternative - Nutrogena 2 in 1 Face wash and mask and it is lovely. I think it has menthol in it because it gives a lovely cold tingle when you use it and it is lush!

... and I can HIGHLY recommend Aveda Shampure - it is a lovely shampoo that comes in 1 litre bottles and lasts about six months (pricey, but not when you consider how long it lasts). Comes with a pump and the smell is really gorgeous - I sometimes use it as a shower gel too, because it smells so wonderful!

I used to work with a woman who smoked. She was quite envious of another colleague's complexion - she had great skin, despite being some 15 years older. Anyway, the woman asked how comes her skin was so great yet she was much older...
"I use plain, unperfumed soap & never wear makeup - unless for a special occasion and above all, I've never smoked. When you purse your lips, have you noticed how they look like a cat's @rse? - That's what smoking does"

Well, I was ROFPMSL.

And it's true. Toxins in nicotine have an effect on the chemicals that give your skin its elasticity.
Not to mention the low oxygen levels in your body can make you feel tired, and promote the growth of cancer cells.

all skin creams are a waste of money (unless you want an aroma) and are basically just E45 cream in different packets - you should just buy that and save your money

I thought all E numbers were bad for you?!! Make kids hyperactive and stuff like that?!!
