I have 2 grandsons with Aspergers. They wouldn't notice if the place was knee high in dust. Cleaning is not high on their list of priorities. It has taken 18 years for the eldest to learn to keep his room tidy. He doesn't notice mess as long as he can find his stuff. He would throw a right tantrum if I went in there and moved anything. The arrival of his Birthday present, a Pool Table with Air Hockey insert , triggered a tidy up. The old bed had to go, and a load of junk removed before the table would fit in, and a futon solves the bed/somewhere to sit problem in a limited area.
OCD is more likely.

Even without proper diagnosis it was almost certain that junior had Asparagus Syndrome.

LMAO!!! That's great - even after all this time I STILL can't say Aspergers without going to say Asparagus :D

Most of the Aspies I deal with really don't notice what goes on around them re:- cleaning, washing etc. Aspies with OCD are a nightmare though. My friends 7 year old twin sons have to have everything lined up in a specific order, books at the edge of the bookshelf, but not overhanging. The same with DVD's. Even Lego bricks are in separate boxes, sorted by colour. If she moves anything out of line there is a complete meltdown. The fun really starts when the obsession of D clashes with the obsessions of P. She tried separating them but they would sleep on the landing rather than being separated.

Oh, I didn't mean that the OP couldn't have Aspergers because they were displaying OCD tendencies, just that going by the little info in the OP it sounded more like OCD rather than anything else :)

Been looking for a bloke with a compulsion to clean for years :)

Don't sound like anything to worry about to me ;)

Yeah. I could do with one of those too. You know, the ones they parade on collar and lead at S&M do's. I could definitely do with one to do the hoovering, washing and ironing at the moment. Out of my price range though.
Mine thinks the laundry bin is somewhere to dump washing next to, or on top of, if it even gets that far. The kitchen bin gets things dumped on top too. Lifting a lid or opening a flap is too much like hard work.

Yes, my Mum's not allowed in my room at all because if she moves stuff. Is it normal?

That is very normal...I used to HATE my mother going in my room, glad I left home when I was 17! And my teenage daughters now have a note on their door "NO ENTRY" - I'm not allowed in if they aren't there....
