Featured Charity.

This month's featured charity was chosen by last month's YDC winner Chiquita who has chosen The Dream Team.

The Dream Team exists to grant the dreams and wishes of sick, disabled and terminally ill children in the UK. By sending them on Trips of a Lifetime, or arranging for them to meet their hero's, basically turning dreams into reality.

For those who have not taken part in YDC before here is a copy of the rules...

Please read all the rules

1) The expected value of the item listed must be £10 or less.

2) You MUST put YDC27 in the auction title, the auction must be a standard auction and run for 7 days.

3) Your auction must be hosted on eBid and it must NOT break eBids rules.

4) You MUST list your item between midnight friday and midnight sunday.
Even ONE MINUTE too early or too late will mean that your auction will NOT be accepted in YDC.

5) You MUST add one of the following to your description:
A) This auction is an entry in YDC, it is not a charity auction.
B) This auction is an entry in YDC, money raised will go to.....(Add the name of the charity to which the money is going )

6) You must not mislead the buyers. Please be truthfull.

7) You may list a maximum of 5 items in each competition.

8 ) The auction MUST be hosted on Ebid and not any other auction site.

Anyone can join in YDC, not just forum members. So if you have a friend who might have a laugh taking part in YDC (selling or bidding) then tell them to come and join in the fun.

I'd like to see more daft auctions this month, I miss the early days when we had some very funny listings for YDC.

So go find your daft items and prepare your daft descriptions and let's see who list's the funniest auction this month.

Bin meaning to do another auction.
I have an item pertaining to my alter ego - for those who remember the kafuffle over a bag of M&Ms in the dim & distant past, a certain ebidder offered to match the highest bid for a bag of M&Ms.
When the bids went over £10, the ebidder then offered a Mars bar as well!
