My Nuts have been Blown Dry ?

After quite a nice Summer & not alot of Rain the Conker tree in the Garden has failed to have many Horse Chessnuts on it ?

According to the Farmer, who lives next to us its because of the Dry winds & lack of Rain.

They have been litterely been Blown Dry !

Are there any other K T'ers who have suffered a Similar Ecological disaster ?
