It's at utoxita race course ,,, its called a CARABIAN CANTER , they provide grass skirts and garlands ....

ANYWAY ... She does not want money from people as she said this time it will be a carry a bucket job and collect as you run around, it is more to raise the profile.

She could meet you there and you can run / jog/ walk together.

You will get a certificate and a medal for completing the event.

A JOGGER who took part in this year's Hearts First Solihull 5km Jog has thanked generous readers for their support on the day.

We first featured Sharon Henning, aged 35, from Pitmaston Road, Hall Green in May, when she and her 11-year-old niece were preparing for the British Heart Foundation's jog. Sharon had appealed for support after losing her husband Billy to heart dis-ease and wanted to give something back.

The pair, who ran under the name "Billy's Babies", both completed the race in under an hour and have raised just under £400.

"We had a very good response," said Sharon. "We had support from family, friends and neighbours."

Sharon thanked all those who donated money but a special mention went to Elaine Parker, who she described as "a dear and wonderful friend, I would be lost without her".

Sharon's niece Charlie Ann Humphryson-Lowe finished the race in 45 minutes, with Sharon following close behind in 50 minutes.

"I was very nervous, it was an emotional day for me," Sharon said. "I had a stitch but I thought I can't stop, I'm doing this for Billy. It made me realise I was doing it for the most important person in the world to my life and it made me realise just why I fell in love with him."

There was also good news when Sharon returned on the Sunday afternoon, when a close friend of hers offered her a job as a private carer, who Sharon is still in discussions with.

She was also offered a massage from Stuart Morris who has a reflexology and aromatherapy business in Kings Heath, who after reading of her care towards Billy, decided she deserved to be rewarded.

Sharon also paid tribute to her mother, Bridget Lowe, who made sure she never gave up. "She has been such a great support to me before Billy died and after."

Charlie also thanked her mother, Lorraine Humphryson: "I would like to say thank you because she helped me along the way and she was there for us."

Sounds like a laugh, she is certianly getting stuck in isn't she?? lol! Will mention it to T tomorrow and anyone else i can get roped in....... will know in a couple of days

Aww mel, she had a rotten few days ( im sure she wont mind me saying ) KEEP TELLING HER TO GET A COMPUTER AND GET ON LINE. I realy dont know what is holding her back. :confused:

But she gets down, was her wedding anniversary the other day and its still only 9 months since Billy died.

As bright and fun as she is, she still feels his loss MASSIVELY and so i think she is trying to keep herself as busy as possible.

When she did the last one i think it was to put the seal on it, to finaly realise Billy was gone and to move on ... BUT , I think she isnt quite ready for that yet.

This makes her feel needed and she needs it too @ the mo.

So I am just pleased to see her with something to focus on to carry her through the rough times.

Anyway, we shall see what happens. She is asking me to make her a coconut bra PMSL ... well, should be easy enough. lol

Do they do DOUBLE F coconuts ??? lol , i think she might be bigger than that lol, she only has a narrow back too. OUCH!

Anyway, she also mentioned you and frank and a few others to the newspaper but they only allow so many ADVERTISED names ( for want of a better name 4 it ) lol

You could go with a FUNKY FUDGE T SHIRT ... lol :D

Aparently ... there is a hold on this particular event for some reason. She is going to have to get back to me to let me know IF it is still going ahead. SORRY mel and anyone else who is interested in it. I will have to let you know any news as and when i know.

Its down to the race course ... so i wish i had not said anything now.:confused:
