Friday the Thirteenth!

I only realised a short while ago that it was Friday 13th today.... It's been a lucky one for me so far. :D

Decided to have a lie in this morning and had a hilarious dream about Spike (a non-smutty dream before anyone asks! LOL).

Got my parcels packed in record time... had a leasurly(sp?) lunch, got my parcels posted before I picked Beth up from school....
and this evening I am going to curl up on the sofa with a trashy mills and boon type book. :o:D

Life is good..... especially for a Friday 13th.. not that I am superstitious or anything!!!!! LOL

Oh, and my daughter had a narrow escape today....she woke up feeling sick and dizzy, so I let her take the day off school. Then I get a phone call in the afternoon from the Headmistress's secretary. A group of girls were hanging about and causing problems, and it's very serious, and Rebecca was one of them...."Hold on, hold on," says I, "did you just say Rebecca?" This she confirmed...and I said "well, Rebecca's off sick today..." The secretary apologised profusely, and said that one of the girls must have given a false name...

Sooo...if Becky hadn't been off school she would have been in serious trouble!

Friday the 13th was a bad day for us.
My wife crashed the car and wrecked the drivers door, then she thought she had lost £200 and a cheque (found that a few hours later), then one of the staff at the nursery school that we own decided that she wanted a long weekend so pretended that she was ill and went home without telling us, my wife had to go in and cover for her. So today I have been ringing round for a new door, visiting the woman who she hit to see what damage has been done and to see if its worth just paying out instead of using insurance. And to top it all just when you think things cant get any worse, a crate of booze got blown off the top of the wheely bin smashing loads of stubbies.

ACK! I spoke too bloody soon! My daughter's mate got mugged tonight for her mobile phone :( while my daughter was in the shop (her mate was outside)...

I have seriously had a night to end all nights....

BUT....thanks to some of my daughter's *contacts*...I got the mobile phone back...let's just say that the girl who nabbed it (she was with a group of adults!!!) didn't fancy having her face re-arranged....

All's well that ends well..... :)
