What is the reason behind your reply to a thread HAVING to have 10 characters ?

Maybe there used to be a lot of blank msgs accidentally posted - but all they need to do is make sure that at least 1 char is entered.

I don't get it!

STUPID!

It's just the forum engine this place uses Elaine, I post on a couple of other boards that use the same engine and they too have 10 character minimums....royal pain in the butt really, but guess it makes people post something meaningful rather than just a couple of icons.
