WOOHOO - happy day
I found a baker wot makes proper Geordie style "stottie cakes"
Happy belly-monster today ;)
They also do a thing called a dinner roll - it's about 14" diameter and about 4" thick - soft and fluffy "heavy" bread with bits in the mix - like sultanas and other fruit chunks - with a grated cheese topping baked into the crust ...... scrumptious
..... but even I can't eat a whole one at one sitting ;) got 75% of it down before I was full though :)
