It is isn't it. I'm really surprised that we've raised as much as we have, especially so near to christmas.

After adding the 3 new receipts - new total is £306.31

Thank you everyone for your kind and generous donations of items, your generous bids and for the kind cash donations. The total would not have been possible without your support.

I know of one more payment to be added to the total, but not sure if there are any more after that. If you have money that you need to pay over, PM me and I'll reply with the details.

Once all the money has been collected, I'll be forwarding a cheque to the Gurkha Welfare Trust, as that is their preferred method. They'll send me a receipt which as soon as I get it, I'll scan and post a copy of it here for everyone to see.

Thanks again for your support.

I have problems uploading pics to the forums - have had since the new layout came into being - so to see the receipt and the letter please click the link below to my GWT album

GWT YDC84 receipt & letter (http://www.ebid.net/forums/album.php?albumid=326)

Again, thank you everyone for helping me to support the GWT and the valueable work that they do.

Well done Babs what a great total.

I have problems with my own hosted photos on the forums but have found I can get around it by putting the url into the 'insert email' link on the toolbar - the little envelope icon - rather than the insert image link. Have a go and see if it works for you too.

Very nice letter.
Now that is all sorted, we can concentrate on the next one. Do we know which charity Mat has chosen?

I think I saw something in the winners thread that he's chosen Mencap as his preferred charity.
