I never had the "joy" of children.... I skipped a generation and went straight to gaining grandchildren when I moved in with Maple

so you also gained children later on without the horrors or expense of bringing them up:)

James arrived in hospital within 2 hours of arriving there. He was back to back so was expecting a long labour! Midwife said if we have another then if I even feel a little twinge I should head straight to the hospital!
TBH I want the 2nd at home (when we get round to it lol). I stayed 1 night at the hospital and it was hell. There was only 2 children born that day. The other poor woman was in labour for 3 hours before I arrived and had her little girl 4 hours after James arrived! The nurses were coming into the room all through the night and waking us.

Pam gained 3 of her 4 kids when she married her late husband, which now means one of my (inherited) "kids" is actually older than I am (by 2 months)... which makes life "intresting" sometimes

all the kids were great about us getting together..... they didn't need to look after her themselves :D
the "worse" part as far as pam is concerned is all the kids plus me have the same (warpped) sense of humour

My first was born in hospital. The second on the sofa in our front room ! He arrived at 4.00am along with the ambulance men, the elderly next door neighbours (that we had been trying to wake up to look after son number one) and the milkman ! Luckily the midwife had already arrived. :D
