Humans are "wired" to look for human faces. Part of our survival mode, as tiny babies we look at faces for food, protection etc. So every smear, blob, cloud, piece of toast, taco, tree trunk has a "human face" on it. Our eyes focus on it and our brain tells us that it is a face.
