Didn't believe the "reveal" for a second, but hundreds of people seem to, to judge by Twitter.

That would be good to see Ken. A tornado in the UK? Are you going to post a pic for us?

Here you go, probably not the sort of Tornado you were expecting :D It is a newly built steam locomotive that featured in the Top Gear TV program tonight, with presenter Jeremy Clarkson shovelling the coal.

Is that the one that was built from scratch using old plans?

Yes. Clarkson said it took 19 years and £3M if I heard him correctly. Which is pretty impressive! It's a gorgeous thing. Though out of the vehicles in last night's race, I'd rather have the Jag' if anyone's offering.

No way is it Schumaker. Not unless his shoulders have shrunk by about four inches since the last series. The Stig of previous series has a broader build and totally different body language when he is out of the car (see the episode where he is on the London Underground). A red herring I think.

Whilst I agree it's not Schumacher, I don't think the London Underground was really the Stig either. I don't believe the Stig does any of the non-driving stuff, an extra would be easier and cheaper - just some bloke the right build in nomex.

True. Don't know if anyone spotted the end credits - it said something like "presenters:" which named the boys and The Stig. Under "special guests" it said Schumacher. Hmmm....

It isn't Schumacher he was there to drive the Million pound Ferarri that you can own but not have!

I must admit that Ferrari was something else, seems an odd arrangement where you buy a car but aren't allowed to take delivery.

It was revealed a while ago that the 'main' stig was a stunt car driver, considering the last 2 stigs were sacked after it was found out who they were, I do not believe for 1 second they revealed the real stig.
Did miss the programme though, love watching top gear. Thankfully its repeated on saturday night!!
Im currently reading Richard Hammond's - On The Edge book, Im near finished and I am seeing him in a totally new light.
TBH Jeremy Clarkson really annoys me, he always seems to be the one that tests the bigger fancier sport cars, he cant seem to accept losing and he really seems to think he is someone!

It was great watching Jeremy Clarkson shoveling that coal,
about time he got his hands dirty.

JC is the lead presenter, the other two are his side-kicks. It works well.

You can see why Schumacher doesn't do interviews very often - he's rubbish at them! I think he's a bit stuck-up anyway, never did any interviews for anyone but the German press when he was a driver. I can't imagine that he'd take time out to be on a British motoring TV show in secret, his ego is too big.

I think the relationship between all three presenters has a nice balance, they are just like three mates down the pub. It works well as does the air of mystery about the Stig. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I never liked him much as a driver (whilst admiring his skill), and found him extremely difficult to deal with as a member of the press since I was too minor to register on his radar, but it's simply not true to say he never did interviews for the British press. And I thought he was pretty funny on Top Gear. His answer about finding curry too tempting was priceless.

Yes I shot Tornado just after she left Eastleigh, then just made it back home in time to watch the start of the Grand Prix. :)
