I've received one at 12:21 today from a company called ipsosmori.com so upon checking their site it seems they're an advertising and marketing company.

worldlotto i keep getting- the number of times weve hung up on them:eek: and thats on the rare occasion you actually get someone speak to you and not hang up first.:mad:

Our number is ex directory and BT have it set that our number is not given when we call out.

Yet we get calls like that alot! A recent one was a recorded message about double glazing. About 4 months back we had one just after 6am!

I thinks whats worse than that is - when you are either upstairs or in the garden, and you are expecting a phone call, so, rather than the answer machine get it, you run down the stairs or in from the garden falling over the dogs as you go - only to find that its some *********** trying to sell you something that you ...

a) don't need
b) never knew existed
c) can't afford
d) if you wanted to buy would check the internet for costs or a local company for fitting where you have a better chance of good customer service and guarantee - or at least a contact if something goes pearshaped.

Then - you find that while you're trying to get rid of this ******** the call you are expecting has been lost because they've had an engaged tone and are not going to try again.
