At what point does a shower cease to be a shower and become rain?

Is it based on duration or quantity of water, and what is the cut-off point?

I will have to break that law today. I broke my Hoover yesterday before I could do any work with it. Alas OH repaired it last night so I have to use it today:(

Well, how could I have missed it!! At least I can stop worrying if your parcel had the same treatment as mine;)(confiscated by the border control)
