Hi
Does anyone know the name, age and approximate value of the following piece of Capodimonte.

The figure is of an balding old man with a beard he is dressed in a green coat and black boots, he is sitting on a brick wall and leaning on a marble table, which has a book on it with the following Italian on it.
"Siccheun, Secondq Un, Ragionamento, Verosimilibislo, Sogna Dire, Propio Cosi:"
"Che Questo, Mondoe Dav, Vero Un essere, Vivente"

He is using a quill, and there is also a quill stand on the table and two sheets of crumpled paper on the floor.

The signature on the floor behind the figure says Cortese, and 364 next to the Crown and N mark in blue.

Many thanks
