I'm selling, and want to know if there is anyway to know whether people are watching my auctions, or just viewing them? Thanks Sandy

Sandy, a big welcome to eBid, may it be a pleasant, prosperous experience for you.

There is no way of know if someone is watching your auctions and the view counter is not always accurate but that is supposed to be one of the things that will be fixed soon.

I don't know if the seller can tell if their auction has watchers. I do know we can watch auctions if we want to. O yea, WELCOME TO eBid:)

Hi Sandra,
A very warm welcome to eBid hope you will be very happy here with us. As the others have said you can't tell who is watching your items but personally I don't think this really matters as I found over on greedbay that it was no guarantee that they were going to bid anyway!

What would be helpful is putting on a signature link to your items so that people on the forums can have a nose. This link will tell you how to do it.

It would be nice if we new how many watchers there were.
It would stop me from deleating an auction just to put it in a different shop.
There by losing a possible sale.
But alas it is not available.

Hi,
Welcome. And no there isn't a way to know if someone is watching your listing. I didn't find that helpful on ...bay as often 4 or 5 people would be watching an item and the item wouldn't sell. I rely on the views to see how much interest there is in an item.
