We used to have two when I was a kid, souveniers that my Dad brought home, together with a cereminial sword. Never knew what happened to them probably got given to the scrap metal man. Had some gas masks as well. The junk, or what we thought was junk we threw away, it would be worth a fortune now!

We found a WWI gas mask in one of the attics, in terrible condition. Sold it on GreedBay for over $50 and when the buyer left feedback, he said it was in better condition than he expected! I can't imagine what the ones in good condition would go for.

Bro has one he bought somewhere . He wears it and drives around in his old Russian sidecar with goggles on and his big dog in the sidecar. Quite a spectacle way up in Dawson City , Yukon where he lives. Mother was worried someone would shot him. :D
