The POSTMAN just delivered a parcel!

Considering the weather and the state of the roads over the last week I think the postmen have done an excellent job. They must be catching up on their deliveries if they're working on a Sunday.

I don't know about anyone else but I hate having parcels delivered. It is the downside to online shopping for me.

I am retired (early I hasten to add) and not much of a 'gad about' so am home most of the time. Despite that I have difficulty in receiving packages.

I'm starting to think that my home is under surveillance. It is virtually guaranteed that as soon as I go for a dump or climb into the shower the postie/delivery driver comes banging on my door with a package. Gets no answer so vanishes with it forcing me to make a trip into town to collect it from the sorting office.

If I have a lie in they try to deliver at the crack of dawn. If I get up early because I am expecting a delivery that day it either doesn't come that day at all or is delivered late afternoon.

They never seem to attempt delivery when I am free to accept it. It's a conspiracy.
