It was a sad day in Greendale .... a very sad day, when Postman Pat went off to the unemployment office to sign on with Buzby!

It said it would be around £800,000 out of pocket after Woolworths' CD and DVD distribution business, Entertainment UK was put into administration.
The firm was a key distributor for the DVDs and other merchandise produced by the firm based on its TV characters.

An opportunity for someone there then.Apply for exclusive rights to sell Postman Pat dvd's on eBid!http://www.bedfordcf.co.uk/mboard/images/smilies/sorted.gif

Had a phone call at the office one day - band member wanting to know the chords to Postman Pat. So there I was singing G G6, G g6 ...

Put down phone and realised that the entire office was silent.

Am now reading the stuff to my grandchildren - and keeping very quiet about knowing how to play the tune.

Both of mine loved Postman Pat; we've watched the videos, had books, jigsaw puzzles and I think there is even a fluffy Jess somewhere in the house - I wasn't sure about the "overhaul" they were about to give him though - bringing him into the 21st century with a helicopter, mobile phone, etc etc.
