what makes you blush when out shopping?

I can buy condoms without a problem, I will search the shelves, for colour, size etc...

but when it comes to buying, ermm.. toilet rolls! I try to hid them, and hope nobody that i know sees me,

i even buy a load of other shopping to try to hide them. I've even thought about buying them online!

what makes you too embarrassed to buy?

what lengths do you go to to avoid getting it yourself?

same here...although...

when my son started college he also got a job working in one of those fun bars...and he had to wear a lycra 'uniform'

As he was at college during the day and working at night he asked me to go into town and buy a 'jock strap' (?) to make his bits and pieces less prominent.

I went to the relevant dept in a large sports shop and was served by a spotty teenager, young enough to be my grandson (well nearly) who brought one out, opened the packet and holding it up, asked if thats what I wanted, asked very loudly what size I needed...I didn't even know they came in different sizes...lol

Thats the only time I can remember being even slightly embarrassed when buying something.

lol had loads of embarrasing moments shopping, think the worst one was when my sis came over from Aus, was in a shop and she shouted across

Shezz did you find those thongs you wanted:eek:, the whole shop heard, now thongs in aus means flipflops.

if anyone was looking for this shezz they would of found me litrally hiding in the clothes rack nearly wetting myself laughing, thing was my sis did not have a clue what she had said wrong:D

wouldve been funnier if you had shouted back "nope, I thought I found the perfect size, but I cant squeeze my big toe in them.... " ;)

you should come out with me and my sis for lessons - we have a riot when we are out shopping - no embarrassment from us, just the people around not sure if we are being serious or not - the looks on their faces is classic!

Good laughter therapy though :)

Nothing springs to mind I just buy what I have to buy don't even think about it.
I have to shop quickly, don't like crowded places so don't have time to get embarrassed.

oh jeeze could go into so many other things, yeah ya need a giggle when your out shopping cos it's the most boringest ever thing, sadly tho i now do it on my own since a tragedy in the family split it apart, but still have a giggle over the memorys i have like

See a car once i thought i recognised arm was sticking out
so muggins here went running up to the arm and grapped it trying to pull it out and said gotcha
:o when i looked was a complete stranger, i just looked at him and said oops no i aint

and walked off

or the time i was in slow moving traffic thought i recognised this young lad at the bus stop so pulled over to offer him a lift

for weeks i worried that this YOUNG lad was walking around tilbury telling everyone there is a demented woman driving around trying to pick up young lads at bus stops

I know specsavers was my next point of call after that incident:D
