I nipped into my greedbay account to check on sommat I was watching for OH ( A car thingy:()
I was just checking generally and noticed this feedback had been left for me.
The sale was so long ago I had to trace it back Via Paypal!!
It was a Brand new metal Camping Kitchen larder. All boxed. It was on auction and was started at £9.99. P + P was £9.00 .
19 Quid I thought was reasonable :D they sell for upwards of £30.00 in camping shops.
Feedback left
"JUST AS ORDERED DID PAY MORE THAN IN SHOP THOUGH NOT SELLERS FAULT"
He Bid £23.00 :D so yes, he may well have got it cheaper but it was very gracious of him not to leave me a neg for his inability to refrain from hitting the BID button :D

I love it when they do that. It only goes to show "Bidder Beware".

I do think you as a seller should have taken responsibility for his actions
and stopped him bidding more than he wanted to. Hehe
Don't they make you laugh pmsl

I must have had the same customer! ;):D
Several years ago I remember I sold a very pretty glass comport (cake stand) by auction starting around £4.99 and it reached about £22.00. I was given a neutral saying something like 'Lovely item but a bit expensive for the size'.
The measurements were clearly stated on the advert and I certainly didn't force them to hit the bid button!!!:D

I had something listed as a BIN with a best offer, someone offered £20 more than the BIN price! go figure that one. I sold it and gave them a refund :)

I am seriously thinking of writing to the Greedbay University and offering them my course entitled "Public Relations According to Greedbay " The course is a series of 10 modules for sellers entitled as follows:-
Expect The unexpected
Expect Negative reactions
Expect System and personal abuse
Expect No commonsense
Expect Inability to read.
Expect Financial loss
Expect Confusion
Expect No Greedbay support
Expect typed abuse From Forum trolls
Expect Suspension.
Once you have attended this course you will be presented with a certificate ( Framed $200. Unframed $199 ) and have the right to place the following letters after your seller's ID IItbgMD.

Maybe they should introduce a 'you cannot bid more than' button:D That should solve the problem
