A week ago, I tried to purchase a DVD. The seller had no method to make an instant payment in the listing, although PayPal was listed as an option. I tried several times to contact the seller to complete this transaction. To date, I've received no response. Not even an acknowledge of the purchase. This is supposed to be a gift and I'm running out of time. How do I cancel this purchase? I found the same item, elsewhere. This seller seems actually interested in selling.

I think you'll need to talk to support, to confirm they are happy for you to consider the sale invalid. support@ebid.tv

Send an email direct to the seller stating that unless contact is made within xx hours you will consider the contract void and purchase elsewhere. They may of course be away, but that isn't any help to you, but leave it a while before considering feedback.

The seller will probally on here next week saying i havant sold anything.

What you can do is contact support and they will email the seller directly. Ive had this before with buyers & sellers & usually worked out ok in the end.

Since I joined ebid (nearly 3 months) I've asked several sellers questions and to date there are 4 sellers who have never responded which meant I didn't buy their items, although after reading another thread about a problem with the Q&A system I'm wondering if they did reply and I just didn't get it. In that case they probably think it's me not bothering!
