Me too - no Kleenex, just a bog roll (and I'm at work so it's a bit scratchy and cheap!) but you're welcome to some.

I am so pleased for Merlin and the lady... more than that though....
This outcome demonstrates that eBid is run by good business people with enough common sense to realise that "The Human Touch"is a pwerful sales technique.
Even though this is a world of eCommere..it is populated by real people with different needs and situations.
Showing an interest in an individual customer's needs not only helps to gain back a disgruntled customer but demonstrates to other customers and potential customers that they can have confidence in the product and if there is a problem that it will be addressed in a timely, professional and personal manner.
This is a powerfull, effective and essential sales Rule that every successful business person will endorse
Well done Gazza et Al for this outcome

Merlin - pleased to read everything worked out OK for your friend. I read your various posts yesterday morning before going to work and hoped common sense would prevail. Seems Gazza/Admin saw it was a genuine mistake and rectified matters. Very glad to see you appear to be staying (selfish me!) as your help topics are, well, what can I say, other than extremely helpful!!!! I look up your threads to refer to them often, I am sure our more recent members also find them very useful. Must admit I nearly fell foul of the Featured Listing and autopost issue myself when I first started, but my "attention to detail especially if it will cost me money mode" kicked in and saved me from that pitfall. Thanks again for all your help.:)

i better say sorry to you guys too so sorry
but this needed sorting not only this woman but the whole issue of default
and if i see something wrong i am passionate in getting it sorted quickly,
i may jump in head on but thats the only way i know how to raise issues
and get them sorted , pussy footing around is not my style ,
it`s a case of if you shout loud enough at some stage you will be heard
a bit like when in a busy bingo hall you don`t want to lose your win , so you shout loud
and thank you for your support in helping get this sorted
even if some people think that newbies are going to read every bit of auction listings
this proves that they do not and theres many more threads up above about the same issue

pussy footing around is not my style ,
so we have noticed :D
as to your point of reading everything... as I have stated elsewhere with the new "floaty" bit stateing how much it will cost to list an auction this problem should not arise so much now (if they cant read what's infront of them before they hit submit then it will be their fault). the only problem is there is nowhere on it that say "this is a reacuring charge for each relist

it's not cheap (I think it's around the £5.00 mark) but a bottle lasts ages as you just use 5 drops at a time

Have they tried using the veins in the back of your hand?
That's how they have to do a bloodtest on me, (my mum was the same), the biggest problem is getting them to believe you when you tell them it's the only way that works.

I have to get a complete bloodtest done every 6 months cos of my heart to see if they need to change my meds - they only stick the needle in once, then fill all the bottles from the same tube.

i might run out of blood though i was going to ask if they could just punch me on the nose as i`m used to that and atleast the blood flows on it`s own

if it cheers you up a bit merlin..... the way they tested me for M.E. (20 years ago) was to do blood tests they check for everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) if they come back negative you have M.E.
they did it over two sessions a week apart.... the first session they took 36 vials of blood and the second session they took 39 vials thats 75 vials of blood.... but it was only 4 needles in total as they just put a new vial onto the needle to draw the blood

Dear Merlin, Please don't get yourself in a Tiz!! They will only put the needle in once and take the approrpiate amount of blood for the various tests required, speaking as a retired Practice Nurse I am sure they will be very gentle with you ( unless you request otherwise!!! ( Only joking) but on a serious note, Don't you DARE think of leaving, I read every new thread you list and I also read every reply you post. I was new to selling just a few months ago and the help and assistance you and raindrpsey 2 gave me was fantastic. All I can say Is KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK you do Daily on the forum.
