There are quite a few Newbies over from the other side that will not know what the YDC is, so here is a breif outline of what it is all about
Here on ebid once a month, normally the last weekend of the month members of ebid put auctions on in aid to raise money for charity, a pimp thread will be posted in the forum to pimp your auctions, or to draw handbags at dawn or to sniper that much wanted errrr precious auction you must have, lol.
Please read the rules
At the end of the week who ever has raised the most money for there junk will be the king or queen of the ydc and the prize you are all fighting for
Is to be able to choose your charity for the following months YDC.

Well all pets are naughty at times. kids are more costly, our 7 year old decided to shread the log book for our van last week, but kids will be kids, no point in getting stressed about it.

Sounds like you're having fun. I am past that stage and haven't yet reached the next one (granchildren) yet. My youngest is doing his A-levels this summer.
I think my eldest must have been about 3 when he accidentally dropped a plate. For about a week, every time when he could manage to get hold of a plate, bowl, cup, he'd smash it on the floor! So much for not giving him a telling off the first time!

Definitely need them right now.
Phone rang just after son was back from school.
Was the head of chemistry at his school, asking to speak to him.
After he was finished I asked him what it was all about. Was supposed to hand the plan for his practical in on Monday and didn't do it. When I asked him why he said: "Because no one asked me for it". (I know he had it with him on Monday, because I saw him print it of and put it in his bag)
He's supposed to go to Oxford next year, but misses deadlines because no one asks him for the work on the day it's due in?!?!

I think, without exception, they all do daft/naughty things from time to time. Depends a bit on the child as well. And from what I am seeing amongst Mark's friends I sure am glad I have 2 boys and no girls. I think teenage girls are much more of a hand full then boys. Every time he goes to a party and I am unfortunate enough to have to do the late night run, many more of the girls are legless and out of control then the boys.
All I can say is: Just take it a step at the time.
Oh and btw, the scariest bit for me was when eldest first past his driving test and started going out by himself - about to start going through that again with this one :(

I am having kittens with our two girls at the moment:(
Anyway, I will be putting up at least 4 chocolate related auctions, 1 is already to start at 12secs past 6
I also need to ask advice for YDC56/57, I want to offer a weekend break in our caravan (friday pm til sun/mon) but would like the winner to choose from a selection of dates. Would this be possible, or would I have to put an exact date in the listings?
Plus, I have never used extra images in my auctions (without paying for them) is there a way that I could include extra images without it costing extra picture fees. I realy need to put about 6-10 in the auctions. Also for the six week hols etc I would like to have auctions running for this as well.
Any help most gladly accepted.

Morning everyone.
Maybe you two should arrange a swop for a week and then u can tell each other what lovely girls they are - they tend to behave so much better for others;)

You can add extra pictures in your description by using HTML and having the pictures hosted somewhere like photobucket. Check out any of my listings to see. The code bit is <img src="http://www.mypicturehost.com/directory/extrapicture.jpg"> just add that to your description, need to make sure you are in HTML mode and not the WYSIWYG mode.

No more girls PLEASE
Any help most gladly accepted.
why not list the dates that way the buyer can choose, make sure you put it in your description,
Yes there is a way like ken says
Auction Description You're using our WYSIWYG advanced editor to create your descriptions. Change editor below.
you must use the above for your descriptions then in the tool bar you should see this symbol
(javascript:tinyMCE.execInstanceCommand('mce_edito r_0','Bold',false);) (javascript:tinyMCE.execInstanceCommand('mce_edito r_0','Italic',false);) (javascript:tinyMCE.execInstanceCommand('mce_edito r_0','mceNewDocument',false);) (javascript:tinyMCE.execInstanceCommand('mce_edito r_0','Underline',false);)http://uk.ten.ebid.net/editor/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/themes/advanced/images/image.gif (javascript:tinyMCE.execInstanceCommand('mce_edito r_0','mceAdvImage');)
Click onto it and it will take you to another box where you can insert your piccy,
I host mine on photo bucket and just copy the url for the piccy and paste it
into the box.
