Few people seem to stop at 3 days. They usually offend again fairly swiftly. The odd one learns but not many, eh merlin? ;)

30) What if I'm Caught Breaking the Rules?

To keep eBid as clutter free to allow genuine sellers a clean and efficient marketplace in which to trade, we ask all sellers to not break our posting rules (http://uk.ebid.net/help_selling.php#27).
If any of your items cross this boundary, ALL your auctions will be deleted without notice and your account placed on hold. When you try and login while your account is on hold you will find you are locked out. To remove this ban, please email us using our contact form from the HelpDesk index page stating the item(s) you posted to create this ban and that you will not post such items any more. Please do not email us asking us what you did wrong, a simple apology will re-open your account almost immediately whereas a long winded email conversation will waste ours and your time.
If you state you will refrain from posting banned items and are caught a second time, the same will happen.
If you are caught a third time your account will be locked on a permanent basis. It is up to you to read the posting rules and abide by them, users are told about the posting rules when they start an auction. "I didn't realise" won't be a vaild excuse!
Continuous negative feedback will also see your account placed on hold. Always make sure your first feedback is positive otherwise your account could be investigated.
Holders of multiple accounts will also be placed on hold.
Suspected bidders on their own auctions (shilling) will see their accounts placed on hold. Users with incomplete address details will be placed on hold.

does anyone know how strict they are on multiple listings. the reason for asking is I have 1000's of subject cards to list on here and the law of averages says that sometimes I WILL inadvertently list a few twice by mistake. Please dont tell me they will pull ALL my auctions for a few accidental mistakes.

Don't get me wrong I don't mind having the duplicates removed but having all my auctions removed would seem a bit heavy as we would be looking at a small percentage of the total listed.

When I started here just over 2 months ago (it seems a lot longer though), I listed the same items by mistake due to not knowing how to list properly, they all got removed, I contacted support and they re-instated the listings but asked me to remove duplicates if any were left.
They seemed to understand.

it is mainly the duplicated ones that get pulled a little tip try to put a number or something if you think you may have listed one already eg: #1 #2 etc.as some cards are the same but from different view aspects so wording may be same use number and it should be ok

That's one of the reasons I tend to put year in front of them. I got currently a stack of about 50 that I have taken out, because I am not sure if I already listed the same ones before; have to go thru my listings before putting them up and/or change into dutch auctions if they are already there.

thanks merlin... I do code the cards (I have too with so many) but the bottom line is they are still the same card, which, even if a mistake, seems unfair to list them.... I pulled 3 tonight (same card different code)
